Pulmonary Valvular Stenosis

Pulmonary Valvular Stenosis [pulmonary=of the lungs, valve=a folding door, stenosis=narrowing]: a narrowing at or near the pulmonary artery (PA) valve. The pulmonary artery carries oxygen-poor blood back from the body to the heart. (sub-pulmonary would mean just below the valve; supra-pulmonary refers to just above the valve.)
